I started TM because a psychologist said I was "stressed." later I learned to teach it and later earned a PhD in management psychology for my stress research. So I did my homework on the research on benefits of Transcendental Meditation and especially what it can do for stress. And I was staggered at the depth and breadth of the findings. I have now taught thousands to meditate and I am still coming across more recent research. The bottom line is that TM has no peer when it comes to reducing stress levels. Why? I think its because it re-sets the mind-body chemistry. Regular practice is the thing. Anyway, it works for me - big time! More good stuff at transcendental meditation in Johannesburg.
