Taco Salad

You Will Need:

-1 lb. extra-lean ground beef (93-7)-4 tsp. chili powder-6 drops Tabasco sauce-4 cups iceburg lettuce-2 tomato, finely chopped-4 tsp. shredded low-fat cheddar cheese-ground black pepper

Directions:

1. Coat a nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Heat skillet over medium heat until hot.

2. Add ground beef. Break into small pieces with wooden spoon. Add chili powder, Tabasco, and pepper. Cook for about 5-8 minutes (meat shouldn't be pink). Drain.

3. In a large bowl, combine beef mixture, cheese, tomato, and lettuce. Add additional ingredients if desired.

(Makes 2 servings)

4.Serve over a bed of chilled lettuce or in a low calorie taco shell.

I hope you enjoy this addition to my healthy dinner recipes!
